i still think its still within his calculations. being confined to the golden throne and becoming a chaos or other type of god seems reasonable when you think of 40k. i heard new lore says his deal with the chaos gods meant primarchs would turn. and they turned faster than he thought. but it seems reasonable any time table you would have will get sped up unreasonably cause chaos gods be like that. but even without the new lore i still think its within his calculations to become a god this way. he probably had plans to become one in multiple ways. confined to the golden throne and having a whole religion devoted to him seems reasonable. 40k is always unreasonable and unrealistic so you cant use normal thinking. and he has lived way longer than we can fathom in a very insane universe so its hard to relate to any kind of thinking he would have.
